In celebration of Artfire leaving the Beta version behind they are offering a one time chance to sign up for a pro account for only $5.95 (US)!!! This is a limited time offer and if a minimum 20,000 people don't sign up it won't happen. So now is the time to open that studio you were thinking about or upgrade to pro! You will need a credit/debit card to sign up for this.
I have been selling on Artfire since December of 2009. I love it. Less games and less hassles than other places. Once I started playing the re-listing game to "be seen" I quickly discovered I could spend way more than that without ever getting a single sale. I have made a lot of wonderful friends courtesy of Artfire and Artfire has always treated me right and made me feel valued. Customer service is great quickly responding to problems with personal touch.
So now that I've gotten you all excited grab your card and follow this link! Artfire Group Deal sign-up!

Green Tree, Mauve Butterflies and Peach Floral
As you can see I managed to get another three items listed today in my Artfire studio. A Green Tree Pendant, some Mauve Butterfly Earrings and a Peach Floral Pendant.
I learned a new technique tonight. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful friend give me help and insight and critiqued the finished piece. Thank you so much Deb! Not only is she a wonderful person, but she sells beautiful, quality gemstone beads in her studio, CrysallisGems. It was a lucky day when I met Deb!

Whats Cookin'?
First things first, this mama's gotta brag! My son had to draw a picture of his shoe in drawing class. I was really impressed when I saw it on the coffee table this morning and so was his dad and grandpa. He also got an "A" on it!
If you can't tell I did some cookin' this this morning! I ran the kiln and fired the 22k gold decals. They are all just lovely. I took a couple of quick pictures to share. I forgot to take the pictures before I put them away. Taking pictures of them on the black does help to show why I use white for the background though. The first picture is of all the fired pieces. The second is a close up. I was trying to get a picture of the cab in the top left hand corner. The green cabs to the upper right look really good unlike the left!

I also caught up on my photography this evening. Now I can finish listing the rest of my pieces!

Day 6 of AEDM Challenge & Artfire Anniversary Sale
HUGE ARTFIRE ANNIVERSARY SALE!
In honor of Artfire's one year anniversary I have decided to have a huge blow-out sale in my studio. This Saturday and Sunday, everything now showing in my Artfire studio has been marked down to 50% off!
Today is day 6 of the AEDM challenge. I had an idea and all the parts ready to go to create a new dichroic glass pendant. By the time I had finished these little angels it was to late and I was to tired to put it together. But here are the finished little angels!

Goal For The Week Of Oct 5-11th!
I have decided to set myself a seven day goal. Maybe challenge is a better description. Anyway my goal is to do four listings a day in my Artfire studios, Willow Walker Designs and my new supply studio The Glass Goddess. The rules are as follows: Two listings must be new items that I haven't listed to my Artfire studios yet. The other two listings may be older listings that need a makeover, new pictures and re-editing then re-listing. I will blog about the items I list the following day. So today's items I will show tomorrow. Also I want to list at different times not all at once. This is to help me get other things accomplished during the day.
I have also decided with the holidays coming up I will start listing some of my "stock" items back in my Etsy store as well. These listings do not count towards my new goal as the are pretty much copy and paste from my Artfire listings. The bulk of my jewelry will continue to be in my Artfire studio.
Now all I need is a date to have the grand-unveiling of my made-over Artfire studio and a Grand Opening date for my new Artfire supply studio! I'm thinking either the weekend after next or this weekend.
I had planned to share pictures of our poor ruined cherry tree and yesterday's snowstorm but the pictures are no longer on my computer! I honestly do not know what happened to them. We had an early snowfall yesterday of almost three inches of thick, wet, heavy snow. As it had only gotten down to freezing twice, just last week the deciduous trees and shrubs have yet to lose their leaves. With all the heavy snow many of those trees lost branches. Our cherry tree lost two of three of it's main branches. I personally do not think it will survive. The guys think it will. I'm rather sad as my mom planted that tree only 10 to 13 years ago and it had just reached a nice size and was a good shade tree. I will get a picture of it tomorrow before the ex takes the chainsaw to it and cleans up the mess. Weather like this is not common but being so close to the mountains it does happen occasionally.

More Little Cabs Earrings
I have spent the last several days making more of these little wire wrapped earrings They are fun to make and I think they have turned out very pretty. I just love the how they have turned out! I also think they show my penchant for bead caps, beads and crystals.
I have even manged to get them all listed on ArtFire tonight so they are now for sale.
I spent most of the day updating my ArtFire Studio due to all the exciting and new upgrades on the listing page. But now I can pat myself on the back because it's done!
AND lastly I am learning to use Mozilla Firefox so I can (hopefully) learn social bookmarking. I definitely found it to run quicker and loved the fact all the listing were automatically checked for spelling. I tend to get spelling errors from my typing. Also found that the autocopy feature works better than on Internet Explorer. Now if I can learn to run different tabs on it I'll be happy!
