Fire Polishing!

I cut out all the designs I did in Spectrum's 96 line. The others that I did in Bullseye 90 are cloudy/slightly divitrified. I will be etching the tops of them, applying a divitrification solution and then firing them. Then I will finish them. As for these I will be able to start wrapping them tomorrow!

First Earrings In Romance Collection

Here is the first pair of earrings designed and made for my Romance collection, based on the theme of "Key To My Heart". I think the hardest part of this theme will be coming up with names for the pieces! I'm thinking "Keys Of Amour" for this pair!

Once again I raided my older work and upcycled these cabs into these earrings. I even re-used the handmade sterling silver earwires I had made for the old pair!

I decided to call the piece from yesterday "Fiery Key Of Love" and listed it in my Artfire studio. I found a delicate gold filled rope chain to suspend it from and love how it looks!

Days 20 & 21 Of The AEDM Challenge

I finished this lovely pendant necklace yesterday. I do believe I will name it "Parfait" or "Berry Parfait". What do you think of that for a name? I think this pendant turned out quite lovely. I plan to get it listed tomorrow.

Today I had a show. We set up most of it last night. Finished the set up this morning before the doors opened. I did fairly well considering. This picture is of the stained/fused & slumped glass table. The three large butterflies in the middle are the ones I was working on the other day.

I don't think I'm going to do anything other than go to bed tonight. If I change my mind and do create something I will share it tomorrow. I have done really well so far, but I think after working a show I refuse to feel guilty about not creating today. I may make two tomorrow as make up though.

As for that picture I promised you.....That is the fugliest batch of fusing I have ever done. I tried capping the ripple with a third layer of thin clear glass so as to make full use of the dichroic glass. I believe it was just a bit too much. I really lost the ripple effect and the dichroic glass is just "lost" in the base glass.

Day 10 of AEDM Challenge & Poll

RASPBERRY RIPPLE PENDANT

Today I took this lovely pink cabachon and wire wrapped it in gold. This one worked much better than yesterday's. I used a heavier gauge wire. I have one more thing I want to try on this style. I will use a variation on how I have wrapped the fine wire on this piece and the last one.

POLLING
I have a question that I would like you to finish! Just leave your answer as a comment below. This question is about my jewelry. I get many comments about it, but not a lot of buyers. My question is this. " This pendant/ring/earring/necklace/bracelet is just beautiful. I love it! BUT I wouldn't purchase it because__(?)______. I would like to know why it is wonderful to look at but not to buy. All help would be greatly appreciated! I work hard and think about this daily trying to come up with designs that are more attractive and unusual that what is already out there and yet more appealing to the buyer.

Day 2 Of Create Art Every Day Challenge

Here is my first piece created for the Art Every Day challenge. I chose this dichroic glass cabochon I made. I wire wrapped it in sterling silver wire adding two rondelle beads. I am really pleased with it.

And here is the second piece I created today. I wire wrapped another one of my cabs in sterling silver wire and Czech seed beads. I love this one too!

And last but not least is a picture of all those chains I put together yesterday. I used bulk chain and findings.
